EYFS Statutory Framework
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework supports an integrated approach to early learning and care. It gives all professionals a set of common principles and commitments to deliver quality early education and childcare experiences to all children.
As well as being the core document for all professionals working in the foundation years, the EYFS framework gives mums and dads confidence that regardless of where they choose for their child’s early education, they can be assured that the same statutory commitments and principles will underpin their child’s learning and development experience.

Tapestry
Tapestry is an online learning journal, this enables you to log in securely and see what your child has been doing. We track there progress against the EYFS framework. There are pictures and small write-ups from staff about how your child is doing. When your child leaves the nursery we will be able to send you a downloadable copy of all there achievements to treasure.

Food
At the Ark Day Nursery, we believe it is vital that all the children in our care should only be fed the healthiest and most nutritious food we can provide. During each session, a healthy snack and drink is provided for every child and should you wish, your child can be provided with a healthy cooked lunch. The cost of lunch is included in our pricing for a full day’s care and a small charge can be added on to a half day’s care to provide lunch if required. All food is prepared in our kitchen every day which received a 5-star rating for food hygiene.
